These well equipped properties were tastefully created from a fine 1800s stone and slate barn in a secluded setting at the head of the spectacular Mawddach Estuary near the historic town of Dolgellau. Close to the sandy beaches of Fairbourne and Barmouth, which offer water skiing, sailing and wind surfing, each holiday property retains the original toll cartway, now a panelled frontage, and a little patio and boasts a quality kitchen and pretty bedrooms with superb views across to the mighty Cader Idris providing an ideal touring base for the scenic coast and striking hills of this lovely area. Nearby are fly fishing, pony trekking and golf courses at Dolgellau, Aberdovey and Harlech. Cycle path and mountain biking nearby. The Alternative Technology Centre and Narrow Gauge steam railway are an easy drive and both the Torrent walk and Precipice walk are a few minutes. Shop and pub ½ mile. Owner on site.
