’Fram Park’ log cabins are ideally situated for exploring the ancient region of Northumbria. Less than 30 miles from the Scottish Borders and 10 miles from the coast where there are long stretches of golden sands - home to the quietest beaches in Britain.
This is a region free from the hustle and bustle of the commercial holiday. Inland you will find ancient ruins, romantic castles, country houses and the scenic beauty of the National Park, with fishing and riding close by. No trip to Northumbria is complete without a day trip to Lindisfarne (Holy Island), which can be reached at low tide, with its fairy tale castle and medieval connections.
Why not take a boat trip to the Farne Islands to visit the basking seals. Alternatively visit the historic market town of Alnwick and take a day or two to admire the Duchess’s beautiful ornamental gardens, and Alnwick Castle, made famous by ’Hogwarts’ in the Harry Potter films. Thoughtfully planned, these picturesque and cosy cabins capture the country holiday feeling whilst providing the comforts of home. Shops and pubs 1/2 mile.
