Ravenglass is the only coastal village in the National Park and served by mainline railway. It is situated at the foot of Eskdale and is well known as the starting point for the ’L’all Ratty’, Eskdale’s miniature steam railway, and just a 1/2 mile from Muncaster Castle. This 300-year old mid terraced holiday cottage backs onto the beach and enjoys sea views (free boat mooring available). The location is perfect for adults and children wishing to explore the western Lakes, fells and coast. Shop and pub 500 metres.
