The River Windrush spanned by stone bridges and flanked by the village green, flows through the centre of this beautiful Cotswold village. Once the village hospital, The Red House offers good sized and very comfortable holiday accommodation.
There is a tremendous amount of things to do in this glorious region, with all the charm of the Cotswolds moments from the door. Stratford-upon-Avon, for those interested in the bard, there’s Shakespeare’s birthplace, the Shakespeare Centre or the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. The city of Bath with its blend of Roman and Georgian splendour, Oxford famous for its book shops and Cheltenham for the racing are all within an easy drive. Warwick Castle and Blenheim Palace are also accessible. Riding, golf and fishing are available locally. Shop and pub 300 yards.
