Silver Street is now well known, as this is where the Whitby scenes of Heartbeat are filmed, feel free to invite Mr Scripts for tea, the crew are always glad to stop and chat and a cup of tea is always welcomed. The colourful harbour and the white sandy beach nestle underneath the Abbey ruins, just 500 yards. Explore the cobbled streets, discover the many quaint fisherman’s cottages hiding away, in the little alleyways.
