This stunning fully restored fisherman’s cottage built in 1860 is situated yards from the harbour, yacht club and beach. Set within Whitstable’s conservation area, this holiday cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and boasts landscaped garden, with additional outside dining area. It is ideally placed for exploring Whitstable with 7 miles of shingle beach, indoor swimming pool and olde worlde harbour where you can purchase freshly caught fish, cockles and oysters. In the other direction is Herne Bay, 2 miles, where seals can sometimes be seen. Visit Brambles Wildlife Park, and Canterbury, which is steeped in history, easily accessible by car or National Cycle Route. Easy train access to London for further sightseeing opportunities. Ideally located near the old town for excellent restaurants and shopping, including world famous oysters. Enjoy exploring the north Kent coast, or take a walk along Whitstable’s coastline – the sunsets are not to be missed. You can barbecue on the beach in summer, or in winter catch the ‘sailors music’ as the wind whips through the boat rigging. Known as ‘The Pearl of Kent’, Whitstable is famed for its oysters which have been collected here since Roman times and is celebrated in the annual Oyster Festival each July. If you enjoy cycling or walking, venture along the Crab and Winkle Way. Faversham, 7 miles. The local pub and high street are 50 yards away.
