Visit the gigantic cathedral-like caves of Castleton, which is also famous for Peveril Castle perched high on a hill, and the Blue John Caves, which can be explored by boat! The charming villages of Tideswell, Eyam (plague village) and Hathersage, market town of Bakewell and Buxton Spa are all less than 12 miles. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and limestone Dales are all nearby. Shops and pub 100 yards.
