Enjoy exploring the beautiful Kyles of Bute from Tighnabruiach, which has a sailing school for you to try your skills. From Colintraive take the short ferry to the Isle of Bute and visit Mount Stuart a magnificent Gothic House belonging to the Marquis of Bute. From Portavadie cross to Tarbert and and explore the Mull of Kintyre and Campbeltown. There is excellent golf there at Machrihanish, or stroll along the deserted beach. Travel to the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar and enjoy a great fishy meal. Explore Inverary with its imposing castle and jail museum. Further north, Oban is a busy harbour town with good shops and restaurants and day trips can be enjoyed to Mull and Iona. Excellent walking, fishing and gardens to explore nearby. Shop 200 yards, pub 1 mile.
