Comfortable, detached house set on the edge of the charming town of Peebles, only 16 miles from Edinburgh. With a convenient bus stop directly outside, this is an ideal location from which to visit Edinburgh, especially during the festival in August. Close by, Dawyk Botanic Garden, 6 miles, and Kailzie Garden, 2 miles are spectacular in spring and rejuvenating at other seasons. Traquair House and Brewery, 8 miles, is Scotland’s oldest inhabited house. Peebles has a good variety of excellent pubs, restaurants and individual shops, a superb theatre and there is wonderful hill walking, cycling and golf locally. Shops and pubs ¼mile.
