(Ref 19617 is not a timber framed lodge). For the water sports enthusiasts amongst you, there is a lake where you can bring your own craft to sail, windsurf or kayak.
There is also a leisure club and bar where you can slowly unwind in the heated indoor pool, steam room, gym and beauty therapy suites. What better way to round off the day than with a hearty bar meal or sipping a cocktail before enjoying the a la carte cuisine of the restaurant. Also on the doorstep is the Silverdale and Arnside Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which offer a wide selection of trails to walk and cycle on. Alternatively, sailing, horse riding and bird watching at the nearby Leighton Moss RSPB reserve are all available in the local vicinity. Carnforth railway station has been restored to its nostalgic ’Brief Encounter’ film fame. Shop 2 miles, bar on site.
