An idyllic location, just yards from the shores of Lake Windermere, these lodges are attractively sited in landscaped grounds with private decking terraces. The facilities on this site are absolutely superb, with a fabulous indoor heated swimming pool and adjoining sauna, children’s play and picnic area and delightful woodland walks. For the energetic there are tennis courts and a gymnasium whilst the marina offers boat launching facilities. There is a choice of a-la-carte restaurant, cocktail bar and lounge bar with a full range of meals and fast food take away. At the heart of the Lake District this location is perfect to explore all the wonderful attractions such as The World of Beatrix Potter Visitor Centre at Brockhole and Windermere Steam Boat Museum nearby. For an excellent day out the South Lakes Animal Park has a Sumatran tiger conservation centre, or The Aquarium of the Lakes boasts sharks and otters. Culturally there are art galleries and craft centres within a short drive or why not simply relax and enjoy the panorama of the lake, surrounding fells and breathtaking countryside.
