These two holiday cottages adjoin each other in the stunning Duddon Valley and share pretty gardens with lovely views of Caw and Seathwaite Horseshoe up the Valley. Dating back to 1706 they both have been completely and stylishly renovated. They have shared use of a games room and access on the owner’s land to a section of the picturesque River Duddon where there are salmon and sea trout (two complimentary fishing permits per cottage, Environment Agency Licence from PO next door). Nestling in this tranquil location, an abundance of wildlife can be seen and walks of all levels start from the front door. The Cottage is a charming holiday base at the end of the row. Church House is a spacious holiday cottage, the middle of the row, and boasts original beams, slate and wooden floors. Shop 10 yards, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
