This 120 year old Lakeland stone cottage has been tastefully renovated and furnished and stands as one of a pair in the heart of the village of Threlkeld. Standing at the foot of Blencathra there is superb walking from the doorstep plus there are two excellent local pubs serving food and real ale. The popular tourist town of Keswick, situated on Derwentwater, is just 4 miles. Bassenthwaite lake, Thirlmere and Ullswater are all within easy reach. Keswick golf club is a mile away and there are well marked cycle routes running through the village. This is an excellent central holiday location for not only enjoying the spectacular local scenery and amenities but also good road access to the Lake District National Park.
