The neighbouring cottages are individually owned and form a small community. Swimming, bracing walks along the cliffs or just playing on the beach at Newquay, Crantock or Watergate Bay are all within easy access. This is the perfect property for that all important traditional family holiday in one of Cornwall’s best locations, close to the dramatic and picturesque north coast. Close by are the fishing villages of Padstow and Port Isaac, both renowned for their picture postcard beauty. Stroll around the meandering lanes that weave around the working harbour and enjoy lunch in one of the many restaurants in Padstow including TV chef Rick Stein’s seafood restaurant. Cycling and walking along the Camel Trail, a level off road track that leads from Padstow inland and follows the River Camel through an AONB, is a must and bike hire is plentiful in the village. Newquay is the home to many surfing beaches and surf schools but also has a Sealife Centre, zoo and leisure facilities including tennis, swimming and ten pin bowling. Golf, horse riding, go karting and many tourist attractions are also available locally. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
