The RSPB sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs, is just 11/2 miles away, where you can take in super views across to Flamborough Head whilst spotting the many rare bird species safely nesting. Scattered across the East Yorkshire Coast are many quaint villages with shops and inns in abundance. A 20 mile drive brings you to the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, and the village of Goathland, better know as Aidensfield (Heartbeats very own village). This perfect holiday location has something for all the family, and has an enclosed area with horses. Historic houses nearby include Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall. Bridlington with sandy beaches, fun fair and indoor swimming pool, 10 minutes drive. Scarborough with theatres, eating houses, shops and sandy beaches, 20 minutes drive.
