At the mouth of the River Axe is the friendly coastal resort of Seaton. The mile-long beach at Seaton is excellent for water sports from sailing and swimming to diving and windsurfing. Seaton’s unique tramway runs inland, along the Axe Estuary, to the medieval market town of Colyton. Shops, pubs and restaurant ½ mile.
