Barmouth is popular with tourists and locals; its Blue Flag beach, small funfair and donkey rides in season, make it a good place for children. Adults have a wide variety of sightseeing options and tourist attractions all within a short drive, including Harlech Castle, Llanfair Slate Caverns, Coed Y Brenin Forest with excellent mountain bike trails, Portmeirion, King Arthur’s Labyrinth plus many walks, two golf courses, fishing and bird watching.
