These attractive New England style holiday lodges are situated in the 13 acre Wiltshire Leisure Village (part of a 250 acre estate), overlooking the Wiltshire market town of Wootton Bassett. The site is landscaped with a natural lake, golf course, lawned areas and country club.
The lodges are fully equipped with all modern conveniences, and offer a good standard of comfortable accommodation. The leisure facilities at the complex include a 27 hole golf course, driving range, 18 metre indoor swimming pool, large Technogym equipped gymnasium, exercise classes, restaurant and bar, passes for these are available at very reasonable discounted rates.
Wootton Bassett, 1 mile, is a lively market town with a good selection of pubs, shops and restaurants. With easy access to the M4 it is an ideal base for exploring the attractions of Wiltshire and beyond, with nearby waterparks, historical houses, museums and heritage sights.
Nearby lakes and cycle paths provide ideal opportunities for walking, cycling and observing nature, and a drive through the Cotswolds is a must. Stonehenge, Avebury and many iron age forts are nearby, and the towns and villages of Malmesbury, Castle Combe and Lacock are worth a visit. The cities of Bath, London, Oxford and Stratford upon Avon are all within easy reach. Shop 1/2 mile, restaurant and pub 200 yards.
