There are many local places of interest for the family to enjoy, including Marwell Zoological Park, The New Forest Otter and Owl Wildlife Park or a day out at Beaulieu Motor Museum. Further afield, but worth a trip, are Monkey World and the Tank Museum near Wool. Southampton, with its maritime history and West Quay shopping centre, the Blue Flag beaches of Hayling Island and Bournemouth, and Sandbanks at Poole, are all within an easy drive. Shop, pubs and restaurants ¾ mile.
