Only 200 yards from a popular shingle and sand beach, renowned for surfing, sailing and bathing. As its name suggests, this comfortable refurbished holiday home forms an unusual layout, with the living room, dining room and kitchen on the middle floor, and bedrooms and bathrooms on the top and ground floor. This spacious detached property is on an estate of similar properties and offers some sea glimpses. There is a central communal lawned area, plus a shared communal hard tennis court. There are plenty of amusement arcades and family entertainment on the beach. Hayling Island is also convenient for exploring the area further afield. Chichester is about half an hour’s drive with Goodwood and Fontwell for racing, festival theatre and beautiful cathedral. Portsmouth with its landmark Spinnaker Tower, designer shopping outlets, day trips to the Isle of Wight, Natural Museum, and numerous bars and waterside restaurants is also a short drive away. Also worth a visit are Gosport with Submarine World and Explosion, Winchester with its history, cathedral, abbey and motor museum and the New Forest. There are many National Trust homes and gardens to visit, as well as the South Downs which is now a National Park, all within easy reach by car. However, the property is suitable for a car free holiday being easily reached by public transport (regular direct bus from Havant train station). Shop and pub 450 yards, restaurant 0.7 miles.
