Situated in the village of Weeting close to the market town of Brandon on the Suffolk/Norfolk border, this detached bungalow makes an ideal holiday base. Weeting dates back to Saxon times with castle remains and a nature reserve. Visit Ely Cathedral, Newmarket for the races and Bury St Edmunds. Nearby are the prehistoric Grimes Graves, Brandon Country Park and Heritage Centre and Thetford Forest where the High Lodge Visitors Centre is a must for cyclists and walkers. Also Go Ape is a popular children’s attraction and nearby is Oxburgh Hall (NT). For a day at the coast the beaches of Norfolk and Suffolk are within an hour’s drive. Shop, pub with restaurant 1/2 mile.
