Meigle is thought to be the oldest village in Scotland and is home to some of the most significant carved Pictish Stone in Europe. An ideal base for exploring central Scotland, Perthshire, St Andrews and the Highlands, there is much to see and do in this area, including Glamis Castle, Scone Palace, golfing on one of the many courses in the area, horse riding, cycling and fishing. Monikie and Crombie country parks are a short drive away offering easy rambles amongst scenic lochs and woodland. Shop and pub 1 mile.
