The quiet and unspoilt village of Stanton in Peak is just off the beaten track in the middle of the Peak District National Park, between Bakewell and Matlock, close to Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, making a good base for a holiday visiting the attractions of the Peak District. This late 18th-century cottage has picturesque views from the rear over the Wye Valley and has lots of character, including feature stone fireplaces and original beams. Pub 50 yards.
