On a 10-acre working farm, converted from a range of interesting old barns, originally built in 1805, parts of which date back to the 12th century. There is much to interest visitors of all ages on the farm, with chickens, pigs, sheep, goats, geese, ducks and horses, games room, BHS Approved Riding Centre on site with stables for those wishing to bring their own horses, and tuition available for children (aged 4 years and over) and light adults. Indoor swimming pool and walks direct from the cottages.
The surrounding area is very attractive and within a short drive are the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains, parts of the lovely border area and Herefordshire, Monmouth Canal, Lower Wye Valley and Forest of Dean.The large market town of Abergavenny, 3 miles, offers indoor sports, swimming pool, tennis and golf facilities - as well as a good choice of shops, pubs and restaurants. Monmouth 12 miles, Hereford and Ross-on-Wye about 20 miles, Chepstow 25 miles. 27 bay golf range and 18-hole public golf course ½ mile. Shop 3 miles.
