On a quiet road just off the high street in the picturesque village of Porlock, this pretty thatched cottage (steeped in history and built about 1650) is a perfect base from which to explore Exmoor National Park. It lies adjacent to another cottage where the owners sometimes reside. From the garden are views of Selworthy Beacon; guests may see buzzards and hang gliders, or walk up onto heather-clad Exmoor from the garden and see ponies and wonderful views over the moor and Severn Estuary to Wales.
