Description

Lying just 400 yards from the picturesque harbour in a conservation area, this charming detached property nestles into the cliffside, and commands outstanding views over the harbour and sea beyond. During the summer months there are spectacular views of the sunset out to sea. Furnished to a very high standard, its two ground floor bedrooms each have patio doors leading to either a terrace, or to a large decked area that surrounds the house. Both first floor bedrooms have en-suite facilities, with one enjoying sea and cliff views from its elevated vantage point.
Just a short stroll down the hill leads to a shingle beach and a selection of good restaurants and pub. Half a mile to the east of the property lies the picturesque cove of Port Gaverne with a shingle beach, rock pools and its good pub/restaurant/hotel. Port Isaac lies on the famous south-west coast path and has cliff walks with wild flowers and stunning sea views to both east and west along NT paths. The sandy beaches of Trebarwith Strand to the east, and Polzeath/New Polzeath to the west are within a ¼ hour’s drive and have wonderful swimming and surfing facilities. Port Isaac is a similar distance away from the well known coastal resort of Rock with its shops, bars, restaurants and sailing. Picturesque Padstow lies close by and is characterised by quaint streets and slate houses that cluster round the working fish harbour, together with its famous Rick Stein restaurants and bistro. From Padstow harbour, boats offer cruises in Padstow Bay and a ferry trip across the estuary to Rock can be made. Forming part of the Camel Trail, the 5-mile Padstow to Wadebridge stretch offers cyclists a level route that passes by Pinkson Creek, a habitat rich in bird life. Tintagel, with its mystical castle is but a short drive away, and Bodmin Moor also lies within easy reach. There are a number of golf courses in the area, including the well known St Enedoc and Trevose courses. Shop 200 yards.

Spacious living/dining room with wooden floor and patio doors to decked balcony. Well-equipped modern kitchen with wooden floor. Utility. Twin bedroom with patio doors to terrace.
