Lovingly converted, they retain a huge amount of character whilst offering stylish settings for family and friends to escape away from it all and recharge the batteries. The properties lie on the edge of the pretty port town of Bideford with its pastel-coloured houses alongside a tree-lined quay. The wide, golden, sandy beach of Westward Ho!, popular with surfers, is just 4 miles. Boat trips can be taken to the nature reserve at Lundy Island or visitors can explore the many pretty fishing villages which include nearby Clovelly and Hartland, or try their hand at crabbing at Appledore Quay. For walking and cycling, the famous Tarka Trail passes just a short walk away and it is possible to stop off for lunch en route in the delightful village of Instow at one of the many popular waterfront restaurants. Golf, riding and fishing are available locally, and for family fun, the Big Sheep and the Milky Way adventure parks are close by. Shops and pub 2 miles.
