Overlooking the delightfully unspoilt cove and dramatic cliffs of Crackington Haven, Manor Cottage is just 50 yards from the beach (recommended beach in Good Beach Guide 2009, Marine Conservation Society) and coastal path and provides a unique and breathtaking holiday location. The beach is ideal for surfing or rock pooling and the many coastal and woodland walks provide a perfect opportunity for some wildlife spotting - seals, buzzards, deer and feral goats all make their home here. Nestling in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this 250-year-old detached coach house has been beautifully restored. It retains many of its original features, but with underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, wood-burning stove in the living room and master bedroom, light oak beams and limestone floors. Beautifully furnished and presented, it provides a stylish setting in which to relax. Trout can often be seen swimming in the small stream which runs through the garden, whilst the summer house with table tennis, built-in barbecue and seating area make the ideal spot for an evening meal. The large lawn is ideal for croquet or for the children to let off steam and the gardens have many hidden seating areas to escape to with a good book. Two lovely beach cafes plus a village inn all serving fabulous food and with views over the sea just a short walk away. Use of the local tennis court is available by prior arrangement, local riding stables, golf courses, as well as fly fishing on the owners’ private Dartmoor Estate. The pretty villages of Boscastle, Tintagel and Padstow are a short drive and the spectacular coastline boasts many unspoilt beaches, with watersports, sailing and fishing all available.
