This charming, white-washed, thatched holiday cottage, end of a row, dates back to 1750 and is set on the main road in the village of Chillington, in the heart of South Devon (9 miles by road, 6 miles by ferry from Salcombe). A superb location for exploring with many beaches, coves and pretty villages dotted along this stretch of South Devon. Following the main road to Dartmouth leads to Slapton Sands, with the sea on one side of the road and the freshwater lagoon (Slapton Ley) on the other. The Kingsbrige Estuary bustles with yachts and boats. A favourite beach in the area is East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the river to Salcombe. Shop 200 yards, pub 150 yards.
