Nestled into the moorland and enjoying breathtaking views of Danby Dale, these former working barns on an organic Grade II listed model farm are steeped in history and date back to the 1800s. Sympathetically converted, the barns exude charm and character in this truly idyllic courtyard setting. Bridle paths and cycle tracks abound from the doorstep through the farm’s wildflower meadows to pretty little villages tucked away deep in the valleys of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. The North Yorkshire coastline is host to many traditional fishing villages such as Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and the historic port of Whitby. The North Yorkshire Moors steam train (Hogwarts Express) travels from Whitby to Heartbeat’s famous village of Goathland. Yorkshire’s heritage can be explored when visiting famous halls, homes and castles with Duncombe Park and Castle Howard a short drive. Stroll the cobbled streets of pretty market towns such as Kirkby Moorside, Pickering and Helmsley, and a little closer, Guisborough with its twice weekly market and an eclectic mix of shops. A perfect family day can be enjoyed at Flamingo Land theme park and zoo. Shops and pub 1 mile.
Note: Dale House (ISH), North Range (ISJ) & Coltus Lands (ISK) can be booked together to sleep 18 people
