Conwy lies 4 miles away with a majestic castle, and wealth of craft shops, restaurants and inns. Golf (18-hole), sailing and sea angling are available nearby, as well as a sandy beach at Morfa Conwy. Seaside attractions at Llandudno (7 miles), with cabin lift to the summit of Great Orme, tramway, donkey rides on the beach, sports centres, dry-ski slope and toboggan run. Excellent walking, riding and bird-watching locally, salmon fishing on the Conwy and many scenic drives by dramatic mountain passes. Shop ½ mile.
