Behind the barn are stabled some ‘resting’ racehorses, which can be seen grazing with sheep and cattle in the 25-acre grounds. Holker Hall, gardens and museum, Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall are within 8 miles, whilst Lake Windermere is just 5 miles with the Lake Cruiser, Aquarium of the Lakes and the Lakeside to Haverthwaite Steam Railway. This southern area of the Lake District National Park hosts a multitude of visitor attractions as well as beautiful Lakes and stunning fells for walking and climbing.
