Located within a SSSI, in the U.K’s only residential spa and nature reserve, this amazing holiday property lies within 450 acres of unspoilt countryside. Set within the Lower Mill Estate, visitors have access to the spa complex with steam room, sauna, outdoor and indoor heated swimming pools and hard tennis court. Boating, canoeing, nature trails, cycle tracks and a children’s play area (with trampolines) can be enjoyed. There is an organic farm shop on site. Renowned for its wonderful wildlife, the habitat enables visitors to observe at first hand dragonflies, hobbies, sand martins and the possible sighting of water voles and otters. In winter over 20,000 water birds of 40 different species visit the lakes including goosander and bittern.
This beautiful area offers a network of lakeside paths and bridleways, including the Thames and Severn Canal, to explore hidden countryside. Many fine traditional pubs, cafes and hotels are to be found in local Cotswold villages offering delicious homemade food and speciality beverages. The handsome and historic town of Cirencester with its beautiful church and town square is just a short drive away for sightseeing and specialist shopping, including book, interior design and antique shops, while Bath and Oxford are easily accessible for those who wish to explore further afield.
