Set on the edge of an unspoilt village, this comfortable, single-storey holiday cottage has its own large, south-facing garden. To take advantage of this aspect, solar panels have been installed to reduce the cottage’s dependence on oil. Originally built for a sea captain returning home from the war, the cottage offers visitors wonderful walking straight from the doorstep. Bucknell offers village shops an inn and a stream with ducks within walking distance, as well as, surprisingly, a stop on the Heart of Wales Railway Line. Knighton (5 miles) has tennis, golf and swimming. Medieval Ludlow, with its famous castle and town square, is 12 miles. Cycle hire locally. Shops 400 yards.
Sitting-room with open fire. Dining room. Modern fitted kitchen. Double bedroom. Small double bedroom with 4ft bed (for 1+1). Single bedroom. Bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet. Separate toilet.
