This well-preserved, three-storey weaver’s cottage is one of a row set in the quiet Sir Richard Arkwright Society Heritage Site. Beautifully restored, it was built in the 1770s for the weavers who worked at the world’s first water-powered cotton mill. Excellent walks nearby leading to Black Rocks, High Peak Trail, Cromford Mills and canal.
