Situated on the banks of the beautiful River Fowey, Waterside is a tasteful, single-storey, ground floor apartment, part of a historic building which has been regenerated. Originally built as railway buildings, they sit on the edge of the river and provide an excellent base to explore the charms of Cornwall. The area around the town provides excellent woodland, river walks and a golf club. Cornwall’s dramatic north coast, where famous surfing beaches sit below rugged cliffs, is easily reached. Fowey, famous for being the home of Daphne Du Maurier, is less than 5 miles away and boasts excellent restaurants, quirky shops, galleries, harbourside pubs and boat trips along the picturesque river and out to sea for sightseeing and deep sea fishing. Bodmin Moor is approximately 10 miles, Eden Project, 8 miles and Restormel Castle, 2 miles. Pub 300 yards.
