Scotland’s national poet Robert Burns was born only 5 miles away and a visit to his cottage is a must. The holiday cottage is a short drive from the seaside town of Ayr which is a golfers paradise with 30 good courses including Turnberry and Troon.
Watersports are available at Troon Marina and Girvan. Ayr offers shopping, theatre, cinema, racecourse, pool, galleries and parks. Kennelling ¼ mile away. Shop, pub and restaurant 1.5 miles.
