The mature gardens are a wonderful haven of tranquillity and the seashore is just yards away. Valentia Island is linked by a land bridge to the nearby mainland, so offers the romance and beauty of the island, but gives easy access to the rest of the county of Kerry with its magnificent scenery.

Boat trips to the historic Skellig Islands are available locally. Golfing, hiking, fishing and bird watching are just some of the activities on offer. Shops, pubs and restaurants 1.5 miles.
