Only a short walk from the magnificent Caernarfon Castle and historic town. An ideal spot to tour all of North Wales with Snowdon itself only 8 miles, the Isle of Anglesey 7 miles and the lovely Lleyn Peninsula nearby. A wonderful area for climbing, walking, all outdoor pursuits, with the renowned Plas Menai National Watersports Centre 3 miles away.

Local attractions include beautiful beaches, an 18-hole golf course on the edge of the Menai Straits (2 miles), park/play area and bowls. Indoor tennis courts, swimming pool and leisure centre approximately 1 mile. The Lôn Eifion cycle path and the Welsh Highland Railway adjacent to the house with steam trains to Beddgelert and Porthmadog, and the station at Caernarfon is within walking distance. Bicycles can be hired on the quay.
