Carleton Village Resort is set on an elevated 20-acre site overlooking Youghal Bay and the seaside town of Youghal. Each villa/apartment comes fully prepared for your arrival with fresh linen and towels. Jacuzzi baths, dishwashers, microwaves and washing machines/dryers have been installed in most of our apartments/villas and each master bedroom has its own en-suite. There are 3 apartment blocks within the Carleton Resort and they are perched on the hillside with balconies overlooking the town and River Blackwater. Designated a ’Failte Ireland Hub’, Youghal has an abundance of activities to ensure that your family break is as stress free and action packed as possible. Youghal is famous for its 5 miles of Blue Flag beach and boasts a harbour, leisure centre with gym, indoor swimming pool and children’s amusements. Immersed in history, Youghal boasts Norman town walls, one of the oldest churches in Ireland, a heritage centre, folk museum, clock tower and Myrtle Grove (home place of Sir Walter Raleigh).
