Relax on one of the magnificent sandy beaches in the area, partake in numerous activities on offer at Derrynane Watersports Centre, or ride a horse along the sands. Boats depart daily from Derrynane harbour to the Skellig Rocks during summer (weather permitting), and Derrynane House and sub-tropical gardens (4 miles) are well worth a visit. Situated off the Ring of Kerry, scenic drives and walks abound. Waterville (6 miles) has golf and is famous for its trout and salmon fishing. Shop 4 miles, seasonal pub and restaurant 1.5 miles.
