Derrynane Harbour, 4 miles, offers a variety of watersports, and horse riding, walking and fishing are all on offer in the area. Waterville, 10 miles, has two golf courses and many gourmet restaurants. Lively Caherdaniel village has 2 pubs, one with bar food and occasional music in the summer season. The nearby Ring of Kerry will take you through wonderful mountains and lakes to Killarney, or you can tour the Beara or Dingle Peninsulas for further scenic delights.
