Set right on the water’s edge with its own deck off the living/dining room area, this lovely 2-bedroom holiday apartment lies in the ‘harbour village’ in Killaloe, which lies on the banks of the Shannon on the southern tip of Lough Derg. Set on the ground floor, it enjoys views over the marina making this the perfect place in which to relax. Killaloe is a pleasure to stay in, with its cathedral, restaurants and shops. All water-based activities are available locally. Fishing, sailing, swimming, windsurfing, waterskiing, cruisers and boat hire are available at the marinas. Horse riding, golf and plenty of scenic walks along the lakeshore are also on offer. Limerick, Ennis, the Burren and Galway City are some of the easy day trips from here. Shops 50 yards, restaurants 150 yards and pubs 300 yards.
