There are numerous places of interest and a wide variety of activities including Folly Farm, Dolaucothi Gold Mines, Manor House Wild Animal Park, Pemberton’s Welsh Chocolate Farm, Oakwood Park which offers an exciting day out for all the family, Pembrey Country Park with 8 miles of golden sands, the fascinating home of Dylan Thomas at Laugherne and the National Botanic Garden of Wales. Numerous, spectacular Welsh castles are also worth a visit, including Kidwelly, Llansteffan and Carreg Cennen, or alternatively, visit one of the excellent local golf courses at Ashburnham, Glyn Abbey, Machynys and Carmarthen. There is something for everyone.
