Steeped in local history, only 5 minutes from the beach, these three properties provide wonderful holiday homes. W2164 and W1633 offer a unique chance to stay in part of a manor house dating back in parts to the 13th century. Attractively furnished and well-equipped, these are character cottages on a 500-acre working dairy farm, bounded by the sea and with superb walks along the rugged Cornish cliffs.
A location used in the TV series of Poldark and Penmarric, the farm also features a 4000-year-old "fogou" (a cavern). W40393 has been tastefully modernised to provide a substantial holiday home for four. Part of a terrace, the old coastguard cottages, the sea is visible from both sides. To the front on a clear day you can see the Isles of Scilly, and from the rear along the coast to Newquay.
The famous fishing village and artist’s community of St. Ives is only a short drive away to the east, while a little further west you can reach Land’s End. Penzance with its abundance of shops, restaurants and pubs is 7 miles, and from here you can take a boat or helicopter ride to the magical Isles of Scilly. Golf, surfing and fishing available locally.
