Standing in an elevated position at the foot of the awesome Blencathra, these two delightful properties are in an excellent central location for exploring the stunning scenery of the northern lakes and fells. Sunnyside (ref W41431) is a well presented, single-storey holiday cottage which enjoys spectacular views from a pair of patio windows across a well manicured garden to the fells beyond. Sunnyside Cottage (ref W41095) is a beautifully furnished holiday bungalow set in pretty shared gardens with a private patio area to sit out and enjoy the stunning views.

The popular lakeside market town of Keswick, with its varied attractions, shops and restaurants, is just 4 miles away. At the foot of Blencathra, near St. John’s in the Vale and Skiddaw, walking is available right from the doorstep - an energetic hill climb or a gentle stroll round Derwentwater 4 miles away.

Ullswater is only a 20-minute drive, with the steamer from Pooley Bridge an easy alternative to explore the lake. To the west are the lovely beaches at Allonby, to the east Penrith and the Eden Valley make this an excellent holiday base.
