With the shops and restaurants of Oswestry only 7 miles away, both Shrewsbury and Chester close at hand there are many lovely places to visit including the nearby Lake Vyrnwy (as featured on ‘Springwatch’), Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall and Erdigg Castle near Chirk. Llangollen with its steam railway and canals is also close by.
Golf, shooting, bird watching, riding and cycling are all available locally.
