This delightful former blacksmith’s forge, located beside the road that passes through the village of Riding Mill, has been tastefully refurbished to provide a cosy, semi-detached holiday cottage base a short walk from the River Tyne.
There is fishing on the Tyne, wonderful walks in the area, Hadrian’s Wall, and the Northumberland National Park within 30 minutes’ drive and the glorious Northumberland beaches to the east.
Why not leave your car parked and visit Corbridge, Hexham or Newcastle from the nearby railway station. A well-renowned pub in the village serves excellent food and with historic Corbridge just 3 miles away, all its stylish shops and restaurants are easily reached.
