The lodges are single-storey wooden lodge cabins, well presented and equipped, with a decked patio at the front overlooking the fishing lakes, where coarse fishing is available by arrangement. Relax and unwind in this peaceful setting, enjoy country walks and village pubs, being very near the Dorset border this is an ideal holiday location to explore Dorset and South Somerset, each with their many exciting and interesting attractions. Within easy driving distance there are many family attractions ranging from Forde Abbey and Gardens, Cricket St Thomas’ Lake and Gardens, Yeovilton Air Museum and The Haynes Motor Museum with its fascinating collection of classic and vintage cars. The famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast is only 12 miles away, where you can enjoy superb scenic coastal walking, fossil hunting, swimming, fishing, and boating, or simply soak up the seaside atmosphere of the charming Dorset seaside resorts of Lyme Regis and West Bay. Inland family days out visiting memorable places such as Glastonbury Tor with its splendid views over Somerset, Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wells cathedral city and the Georgian city of Bath with its Roman baths, museums, shops and restaurants.
