The village of Lybster is part of spectacular coastline, with superb walks above cliffs with stunning views across the Moray Firth - an ornithologist’s paradise. The coastline here has to be seen to be believed, and is a few minutes’ walk from the roadside, just up from the harbour.

The beautiful sandy beach of Reiss is a short drive away. Take a day trip to Orkney, visit the Castle of Mey and John O’ Groats.

Wick and Thurso offer excellent shops, leisure facilities, pubs and restaurants. Golf, fishing, bird-watching, cycling, kite buggying, surfing and riding available locally.
